MANDIR PALACE
Jaisalmer with its carved mansions and palaces is a jewel in the sand. It is
as much a visual delight as an architectural marvel. Jaisalmer has some of the
most outstanding palaces and havelis and Mandir Palace is one of the best of
them all. the building itself of Mandir Palace is around two centuries old and
main portions of the Mandir Palace were built during reign of late Maharawal
jawahir singhji. the most outstanding feature of the Mandir Palace is the tower
know as "badal vilas" which is more than 50 metres high and is an
important landmark of the Jaisalmer city.
