HERITAGE ACCOMMODATION OF SODAWASSodawas is situated 90 kms south of Jodhpur. It was given in Jagir to Thakur Bishan Singh by Maharaja Umaid Singh of jodhpur in 1943. A fairly modern structure, the Kot has well-furnished drawing and dining rooms and is located in the midst of green wheat and mustard fields. It is like an oasis of peace and tranquility. The well-maintained stables are a delight for horse- lovers. Horse safaris can be arranged on request .Walks into the village to see local crafts of that region are specially interesting for the visitor. The 14th century temples of Nadol and the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur are within easy reach. An attraction here is the traditional Rajasthani cuisine prepared in the royal family's personal kitchen, and adapted to suit the visitors taste. All modern amenities are available in the rooms.
